COMMUNITY CAPITAL / INFRASTRUCTURE FORUM 2: Clarifying Infrastructure’s Changing Role in Community SustainAbility
Municipal infrastructure supports service delivery and helps shape the community. Over the next ten years, the City of Kelowna will invest approximately $850 million in infrastructure that supports a variety of services, including protective services, transportation, water, wastewater, solid waste, parks, culture, and recreation. The City must strike a balance between competing needs to ensure a future Kelowna is a great place to live, work, and play. This presentation will summarize the City’s infrastructure planning processes, and highlight investments that put Kelowna on a sustainable path.
