FOOD SYSTEMS/SECURITY FORUM 2: Collaborating for Sustainable Food Systems in B.C.
Civil society is deeply engaged in work to improve food systems. However, many community-based groups are poorly resourced and must cobble together their efforts, project to project. Despite this reality, these groups are at the forefront of innovative and systems thinking when it comes to identifying and implementing positive food systems change.
The BC Food Systems Network, has been convening civil society across the province to further catalyze their work through the exchange of information, best practices, and lessons learned. This talk will highlight some of the good work underway in B.C., and what supports are proving most impactful.
