SHARING ECONOMY BREAKOUT: Growing a Sustainable Culture Through ‘Community Hobby Farming’
Our inside world creates our outside world. This is also true in the context of addressing the ecological and social challenges of our times. Transition to a sustainable future requires a shift in our culture, values, objectives, and narrative to one that is supportive of our well-being and that of our planet.
In this presentation, I argue that such culture is one that is based on community values, as it allows improving our quality of life through improved connection and social capital, while reducing our ecological footprint due to shared resources. Next, I introduce Community Agriculture in Collective Hobby Farms as an initiative that can facilitate transition to such culture.
