WATER STEWARDSHIP FORUM 2: Exploring Trends in Residential Irrigation Efficiency
With climate change rapidly altering our water-use options, we all need to be on board with conservation-minded residential water use. In the Okanagan Basin, as well as throughout much of the westernized world, the largest portion of residential water use continues to be for irrigation.
Many communities, including the City of Kelowna, have implemented strategies to reduce residential water use, and current irrigation products incorporate water-saving technologies. What are some of these strategies and products? And, is climate change uncertainty impacting our residential irrigation water-use choices?
